AMBASSADOR

Ambassador Ameer Khurram Rathore is a career diplomat with a career spanning over 30 years. Born in 1965, he joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1993.

​

Ambassador Ameer Khurram Rathore served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Section Officer (1995-1997 and 2000-2002), Director (2009-2014), Director General (2019) and Additional Secretary (2020-2021)

 

The Ambassador held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Abu Dhabi (1997-2000), Kuala Lumpur (2002-2006), Bangkok (2006-2009) and Berlin (2014-2019).

 

Served as High Commissioner to Canada (2021-2022)

 

Served as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia (Feb 2022 – March 2023)
